The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Big Agnes Cabin Creek +15 Sleeping Bag - Double:
I purchased the Cabin Creek as a simpler way to sleep me and my girlfriend during our many adventures. Here's what I thought.
The bag has all your basic features and a few extras. Like the stow away velcro divider between heads which makes for a great way to increase the temp on cold nights. Dual zippers which work very well without catching and fussing with a stuck zipper.
On one side you can adjust the hood and the other has the adjustment for the neck. Requiring a little teamwork but certainly manageable.
Thermarest inflatable pads slide easily into the sleave providing excellent comfort and keeping you on your pad, all night. A foam pad is a bit of trouble but can be done if your budget doesn't allow for a nicer sleeping pad.
It comes with a stuff sack which is approx: 10" x 13"(stuffed) as stated in the specs, and a larger cotton sack for general storage. With a compression bag(not included) you can get the bag packed much smaller.
Pillow pockets for both sleepers have plenty of room for a large, comfortable wad of clothing or a small pack pillow. Just don't forget you fleece when stuffing!
We used this in March in the mountains of Montana and Idaho and down to about 10 degrees and night. You'll definitely be wearing the long johns but I'd rate this bag "comfortably" to 20 degrees.
The only thing I would do differently is reduce the space around the feet. My partner generally has very cold feet and mine spend most of the night with hers. In turn there's quite a bit of room left in the corner of the bag. Throw a fleece or sweatshirt down there and you'll be nice and toasty and this does leave room for both sleepers to have their own space if needed.
Overall, the Cabin Creek bag appears durable, packs easily and small, is an extremely manageable weight considering it sleeps two, and is definitely built of the finest quality from the zippers with no draft padded flaps to the collar and hood draws which work perfectly.
Ditch your old bag and tonight I'll be sleeping with Big Agnes.

Comments about Big Agnes Cabin Creek +15 Sleeping Bag - Double:
I purchased this to go out with my girlfriend. I very much like this bag because of its size and weight for a synthetic double wide bag. The fact that this is a synthetic bag gives me the piece of mind in wet conditions if the bag were to get wet and it is not overwhelmingly large or heavy. It is exceptionally warm and very spacious. My girlfriend who always feel cold is event warm in this bag! The combination of the insulated air core pads and the cabin creek bag is a superb combination. I have used this on several trips from backpacking trips to car camping and is my go to bag when camping with her. I would recommend this bag to any couple who enjoy camping together.

Comments about Big Agnes Cabin Creek +15 Sleeping Bag - Double:
I already have the Big Agnes Encampment (and love it too) and I considered getting her one with the opposite zipper configuration so we could couple them together. Thank goodness I didn't. This bag is AWESOME! I use it with two BA insulated air core pads and it is perfect. It does exactly what it says and is like sleeping on a 40" wide air pad (no gap to speak of). The little flap in between our heads is perfect for those chilly nights and you can cinch the hood down to you nose if you want. I usually have to leave my zipper open so I don't burn up but hers stays zipped tight. I have a Osprey Aether 70 pack and this thing stuffs in the sleeping bag compartment easily. If you have been looking for a couples sleeping bag like I was you know there aren't a lot of choices out there. The North Face makes one but I looked at it in the store and knew right away it wasn't the ticket. I was very apprehensive about buying this thing but I tell you guys out there to make this purchase. You will be glad you did!

This thing is well worth it, i got it for my chic and i and we stay warm and comfy in it no prob! ill admit, its a tad warm, but you have dual zippers so you can leave your side open and make due with that.
its roomy, a bit noisy but what kind of bag isnt that is this make? i havent used the pillow inserts but they are there if needed, nor have i used the sleeping pad inserts, i have two 3" pads which wont fit in this but im fine with the comfort over weight. I use it for car camping/ climbing, i havent used it for backpacking but i do kno it packs pretty small and isnt too heavy. all in all id recommend it, its a bit expensive but you get what you pay for and since i have sleeping quarters at work i got to even use it as a tax write off :)

Comments about Big Agnes Cabin Creek +15 Sleeping Bag - Double:
We live in Minnesota and vacation in the Rockies or the Pacific Northwest, so we need products that function in a wide range of temperatures. We also participate in both car and backpack camping, so we appreciate lightness and ability to compress. Lightweight square bags work fine for us during the warm summer months, but had not found a great solution in L/R zip together mummy bags for colder outings. Our goal was to find a double bag with the same comfort and ease of use for colder spring and fall camping but would still fit our backpacks. The BA Cabin Creek/BA insulted air mattress system has proven to be the perfect solution. The bag is not a mummy style designed to move with you; it is a modified square that allows you to move within the bag. The BA insulated mattresses (which we already owned) offer warm and comfortable support and are a perfect fit for the integrated mattress sleeves. The draft prevention collars and flap do a nice job in keeping out the cold air while you move about during the night. (It difficult to find the middle flap even though I knew it was there; it is well hidden in a Velcro enclosed pocket.) As was part of our goal, the Cabin Creek fits easily into the bag compartment of my Mars 75. The bag/mattress has proved comfortable to the mid 30's, the lowest temp's we camp at. Overall, a very well designed bag system for a couple wanting a comfortable night's sleep!

Comments about Big Agnes Cabin Creek +15 Sleeping Bag - Double:
I knew that if I was going to get my wife to go backpacking with me a second time, the first time would have to be a great experience. I sprung for the Cabin Creek 15+ and two insulated Big Agnes pads. It's a knockout combo if I've ever seen one.
The first night we used the bag, temps dipped into the low 20s. I was skeptical of the lack of insulation beneath me and hoped we'd be warm enough using the insulated sleeping pads in the dedicated sleeves at the bottom of the bag. We're both pretty cold sleepers, and we were plenty warm in this bag. The pad sleeves also means that the two pads don't separate or move, so you have a crazy comfortable and warm surface all night long.
The included stuff sack works fine, but if you pick up a compression sack, you can get it mashed down even smaller. It's not a down bag, but the combination of quality synthetic insulation above you and the lack of insulation beneath you (due to the pad sleeves) means that it carries very light - definitely lighter and smaller than carrying two regular bags of the same temp rating.
Lastly, I'm a relatively big guy (6'3" and 230 lbs), and I fit in this bag surprisingly well.
Long story short? The bag is warm, comfortable, durable, compact, and light. We've used it together a ton since I picked it up last winter from the California north coast to the Trinity Alps to Yosemite and plenty of places in between. My wife hasn't let me go camping or backpacking without her since this purchase, so my expensive single down bag has gone into early retirement. If you're looking for an awesome double bag that's great for backpacking or car camping, you won't regret this purchase.

Comments about Big Agnes Cabin Creek +15 Sleeping Bag - Double:
I purchased this expecting it to be warm enough and large enough. I am 6'1" and the bag is too short because when your feet or any other part of your body gets near the end or zippers, its COLD! I was camping where the temperatures were just getting below freezing, frost at night but +70F during the day. The bag is just not adequate for cooler temperatures. I am now going to use it for Mid-Summer camping with my little kids, or kid sleep-overs. Save your money and try to find two good quality single sleeping bags that zip together.
However, I will give it two stars because I do like the construction, style and idea of the sleeping bag, but its just too short and cold. So if you are looking for a summer night light double sleeping bag and your shorter, give it a shot. But stay away from high elevation fall camping.
