Comments about Big Agnes Cabin Creek +15 Sleeping Bag - Double:
My girlfriend and I really enjoy this sleeping bag. It doesn't seem to quite live up to it's 15F temperature rating but was comfortable and warm at 30F. I would give this bag 5 stars if it came with the sleeping pads that are required to make it achieve a 15F rating.

Comments about Big Agnes Cabin Creek +15 Sleeping Bag - Double:
It had the room, comfort and insulation (with the pads underneath) to reassure my girlfriend that camping is fun. She was pleasantly surprised at how warm such a lightweight bag can be. I was pleased that it packed down to a managable size since I am the pack mule.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was quick, it arrived just in time to take my girlfriend on her 1st campout (in January).

Valentines Day gift :)
Debated between synthetic or down. The former was ideal for us.

Comments about Big Agnes Cabin Creek +15 Sleeping Bag - Double:
Did quite a bit of research on double bags and kept coming back to the Big Agnes due to it features. Wanted a double bag to use backpacking and the Cabin Creek's uninsulated bottom with sleeves for sleeping pads made it lighter, more comfortable and more compact than about any other double bag or combined single bags I could find. We use Thermarest Trekker pads and they provide all the inulation we need and with the sleeves holding them in place it is like sleeping on a queen size bed. The bag is roomy and seems to be well constructed with more features than other double bags. Have used the bag several times this fall in the high desert of South central Utah with no tent and it is amazingly warm.

Comments about Big Agnes Cabin Creek +15 Sleeping Bag - Double:
Used this while car camping in CO a couple weeks ago. It's much better than a previous two-person bag we had years ago. Does a good job at the warmth, and can be opened on one side for the "hot sleeper." Found it had more room than I really needed (two 180 pounders in it). BA has no insulation on the bottom, so I need a better, insulated pad. I really liked the sleeping pad pockets and the pillow pocket (though my spouse didn't like the pillow pocket). It's light enough that I think I might try packing it; I don't like separate bags for my spouse and I.

Comments about Big Agnes Cabin Creek +15 Sleeping Bag - Double:
Very comfortable for two people. Almost as comfy as being home. Amazing luxury in the tent! Slept on top with a sheet liner until it got cold enough to get inside. Very roomy; pads do not shift. Only change I'd make would be to keep pillow from moving out from under my head in the sleeve. Maybe some velcro? Very happy with our purchase.

Comments about Big Agnes Cabin Creek +15 Sleeping Bag - Double:
My husband and I used REI's gift registry for our recent wedding and this bag made it first on the list. It seemed like such a perfect choice for us. However, I was pretty concerned about the size and packability of it. I was shocked when it came in the mail and I tested how well it fit in my pack. Compared to 2 separate mummy bags, this bag packs down smaller, weighs a comparable amount, is way more affordable, so spacious, and so much more comfortable for couples. The bag fits perfectly in the sleeping bag compartment of my Osprey Aura 65 and a compression sack, I'm guessing, could get it down to about the size of an average to small watermelon. As for size and comfort, I would say four adults could fit side by side (not that I would recommend it ;) There is a lot of space. The bottom of the bag is not padded - that is, there is only a double layer of nylon between you and the floor unless you have a mat or pad. We use two Big Agnes Air Core pads that slip in to the underside pocket. It's like we're sleeping on one full size pad. So comfortable!!!

Comments about Big Agnes Cabin Creek +15 Sleeping Bag - Double:
I knew that if I was going to get my wife to go backpacking with me a second time, the first time would have to be a great experience. I sprung for the Cabin Creek 15+ and two insulated Big Agnes pads. It's a knockout combo if I've ever seen one.
The first night we used the bag, temps dipped into the low 20s. I was skeptical of the lack of insulation beneath me and hoped we'd be warm enough using the insulated sleeping pads in the dedicated sleeves at the bottom of the bag. We're both pretty cold sleepers, and we were plenty warm in this bag. The pad sleeves also means that the two pads don't separate or move, so you have a crazy comfortable and warm surface all night long.
The included stuff sack works fine, but if you pick up a compression sack, you can get it mashed down even smaller. It's not a down bag, but the combination of quality synthetic insulation above you and the lack of insulation beneath you (due to the pad sleeves) means that it carries very light - definitely lighter and smaller than carrying two regular bags of the same temp rating.
Lastly, I'm a relatively big guy (6'3" and 230 lbs), and I fit in this bag surprisingly well.
Long story short? The bag is warm, comfortable, durable, compact, and light. We've used it together a ton since I picked it up last winter from the California north coast to the Trinity Alps to Yosemite and plenty of places in between. My wife hasn't let me go camping or backpacking without her since this purchase, so my expensive single down bag has gone into early retirement. If you're looking for an awesome double bag that's great for backpacking or car camping, you won't regret this purchase.

Comments about Big Agnes Cabin Creek +15 Sleeping Bag - Double:
I purchased this expecting it to be warm enough and large enough. I am 6'1" and the bag is too short because when your feet or any other part of your body gets near the end or zippers, its COLD! I was camping where the temperatures were just getting below freezing, frost at night but +70F during the day. The bag is just not adequate for cooler temperatures. I am now going to use it for Mid-Summer camping with my little kids, or kid sleep-overs. Save your money and try to find two good quality single sleeping bags that zip together.
However, I will give it two stars because I do like the construction, style and idea of the sleeping bag, but its just too short and cold. So if you are looking for a summer night light double sleeping bag and your shorter, give it a shot. But stay away from high elevation fall camping.

Comments about Big Agnes Cabin Creek +15 Sleeping Bag - Double:
We live in Minnesota and vacation in the Rockies or the Pacific Northwest, so we need products that function in a wide range of temperatures. We also participate in both car and backpack camping, so we appreciate lightness and ability to compress. Lightweight square bags work fine for us during the warm summer months, but had not found a great solution in L/R zip together mummy bags for colder outings. Our goal was to find a double bag with the same comfort and ease of use for colder spring and fall camping but would still fit our backpacks. The BA Cabin Creek/BA insulted air mattress system has proven to be the perfect solution. The bag is not a mummy style designed to move with you; it is a modified square that allows you to move within the bag. The BA insulated mattresses (which we already owned) offer warm and comfortable support and are a perfect fit for the integrated mattress sleeves. The draft prevention collars and flap do a nice job in keeping out the cold air while you move about during the night. (It difficult to find the middle flap even though I knew it was there; it is well hidden in a Velcro enclosed pocket.) As was part of our goal, the Cabin Creek fits easily into the bag compartment of my Mars 75. The bag/mattress has proved comfortable to the mid 30's, the lowest temp's we camp at. Overall, a very well designed bag system for a couple wanting a comfortable night's sleep!
