The cold-weather Big Agnes Porcupine 15°F kids' sleeping bag is a stickler when it comes to space-saving warmth. It also provides softness, durability and breathability all season long.

  • Ripstop nylon shell is durable and abrasion-resistant; water-repellent surface treatment repels moisture and stains
  • Lining is a soft, breathable nylon taffeta with stain-resistant finish
  • Insulated with high quality 600-fill-power goose down for warmth, light weight and compressibility
  • Underside insulation has been eliminated and replaced with an integrated half pad sleeve to accommodate any 20 in. wide mummy or rectangular sleeping pad, sold separately
  • Draft wedge insulates the connection between the bag and pad to prevent cold air from entering
  • A draft collar around the neck and a draft tube backing the zipper prevent warm air from escaping and cold air from sneaking in
  • Built-in pillow sleeve allows you to stuff your jacket or backcountry pillow inside and keeps it in place all night long
  • 2-way, full-length, antisnag, locking zipper features a big, easy-to-grab zipper pull
  • Interior fabric loops stabilize a sleeping bag liner, sold separately

      Just received my sons Big Agnes Porcupine along with Big Agnes Insulated air core pad (short 15 degree). So we took it outside for a couple hours to see if he would get cold. It was around 30 degrees and he is only 6 so I was worried this might not work but he said "I'm too warm dad can i take off my sweater". So far so good we will see more in the coming months....

        Bought this bag for my 6 year old son and we took it on a 10 day road trip. We camped at Stanley ID. where the temps dropped below freezing, camped at Yellowstone for 3 nights with snow around us. We were in a tent and my son loved the bag never got cold and slept good. He was able to crawl in and zip it up over his head all by himself. We did have the Big Agnes insulated air core pad underneath of him. It was secure and he stayed on it all night.

          We had to return it. My daughter was always cold because there was no insulation underneath- only the sleeve for the mattress and whatever insulation the mattress provided. She is a wild sleeper and would most often end up with the mattress on top and bag on bottom. She hated it.
