The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Lowa Albula GTX Hiking Boots - Women's:
Just ordered my second pair while my first pair is in the shop getting new soles. I average about 200 miles a month in these boots and other than the usual wear and tear they have held up great. Definitely well worth the money.

This boot rocks! Granted, I have only had them a couple of weeks but I hike just about everyday and so far, so good. Great traction, super ankle support, and as soon as I put them on, I (and my feet) went "ahh, this is sweet" - However, they do make my feet sweat a bit but for me that's a small complaint compared to everything else. My main concern is that of durability (my Keen's bought the farm after three months) so I will update in a couple of months to report how these Lowa's wear.

Comments about Lowa Albula GTX Hiking Boots - Women's:
These felt great right out of the box! They are super sturdy without feeling too stiff. Initially, I had purchased the Asolo Attiva and I had nothing but problems with them, the laces would not stay tight and they were really sloppy, but I face that problem with many boots because I have super narrow feet. I returned them after about 10 hikes and found these. Have not had to retie the laces one time! They don't take a tremendous amount of effort to lace up either! I love it! I put them on and they stayed comfy all day! No nasty rubbing anywhere inside the shoe. I am really impressed.

I love these boots! I've been watching them for 6 months waiting for them to go on sale. I finally got them last week and I don't want to take them off.
I love hiking and good hiking equipment but I don't like how most boots are so manly. I want serious boots that are also cute. These boots are both. You can tell they were designed by a woman. They are study, supportive, and beautiful!

Comments about Lowa Albula GTX Hiking Boots - Women's:
These are the best hiking boots I have owned in my 50+ years of hiking. No blisters, great traction, feet are not tired after a long hike in them at all. If they ever wear out I will hope to just replace them in kind. On top of that they are stylish. This is after 6 weeks or so of regular use, mostly on the trails in Griffith Park, rain or shine.

Comments about Lowa Albula GTX Hiking Boots - Women's:
Needed new boots for ME AT section hike this fall. Wanted plenty of time to break in. These are the most comfortable boots I have had right out of the box. I am especially impressed by the lacing system. I have small feet (6)and usually my heel slips no matter how I tie the boots so I usually have to wear two pairs of socks. I love the cross tie as I can get my heel snug and the boot tongue does not slip around. I am doing fine with one thin wool blend hiking sock. So far I think I made a great choice!

I don't usually write reviews, but I love these boots!!! I was searching for trekking boots for Nepal and have tried on bunches of boots. These fit out of the box, with thick socks and were comfortable. I have a rebuilt knee, so they feel heavy on that leg, but not horrible. I have been doing training hikes in these boots, but nothing longer than 4 or 5 miles...no hot spots, blisters or other discomfort. Everest Basecamp here I come...knee and all.
