I LOVE these! I just got them at the REI sale and they are very attractive and fit so comfortable. I am petite 5'1" and weigh about 120. These are low rise, like most things are these days, but designed well enough that they do not look ridiculous on a 40something woman. Perfect little pockets a nice fit around the waist (i do not feel like they will fall off) and they come just down to my knee which is great for Bermuda shorts. They are lightweight and comfortable. My only concern is color--REI picked 2 of the 5 available--an ugly color (Everest, army green) and Sandstone, which is pretty but I'm afraid will get dirty easily. HOW is it they did not pick up the black or the grey??

I never write reviews, but had to write one for these shorts. They are the best shorts that I've ever owned: they fit beautifully, are slimming, super comfortable, and don't wrinkle. I've had a pair in the green that I've worn A LOT over the past two years and they still look great. I was thrilled to see that they're still available. I wear an 8 in some shorts, but a 6 in these. The shorts are nicely (but not too) loose in the hips and thighs, and don't gap at the waist.

I typically order a little large for outdoor clothing but these were too large. I ordered a 12 and it hangs on me even though usually 10s in outdoor clothing lines are a little snug. Other than that, these are great! The stretch fabric makes them very comfortable for any activity. They look great, are slimming, and high quality. I bought another pair - but a smaller size the second time around.

This is probably the most attractive sport short you'll find. I got it in black. I like the just-to-the-knee length and the trim cut. I normally wear an 8 in everything, but in sport shorts, I find the cut is often very snug, so I went with a 10 and am glad I did. Though the waist falls about 2 inches below my belly button, these shorts do not gape in the back! Finally, a cut that realizes some women have curves!
