I split this packet up over a couple bottles of water.. Basically I think it was a small enough amount to make the water taste good. I didn't really notice much else besides that.. I can vouch for the taste.

Love this product, and the individual serving size is very convenient for a mid-ride refuelling. You can store the packet very easily in your pocket of your cycling jersey and it is measured out to fit a standard size (710mL) cycling bottle.

The blueberry pomegranate flavour has extra sodium, great for warm weather or indoor efforts where you are sweating lots. The flavour is pleasant and not too sweet. Unlike some other sports nutrition products, it tastes great even when the water is not really cold. Dissolves well into water, not messy.

I tried this and Cytomax for cycling, intense spinning and cross fit. Both work well regarding recovery (less ache next day)and level energy, but GU sports had more chemical taste. I tried orange and raspberry and preferred several Cytomax flavors. Neither caused GI distress.
