Comments about Mountain Hardwear Offwidth Jacket - Women's:
This jacket is just what I was looking for with my daily 3 mile walks and hiking. It is wind resistant yet breathable, and I can tie it around my waist once I work up a sweat. It is fitted well, so I can put my water belt around my waist without bunching. I am so glad that I spent the extra money to get just what I wanted.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Offwidth Jacket - Women's:
I am a 5'4" 115lb female with a proportional body (not apple or pear and no long or short torso). I bought two black ones in XS and S (returned XS).
First of all, if you are not going to add layers under the jacket, XS fits like a glove. The sleeve length, arm holes, and body length are just perfect for my built and size. However, I can only wear a camisole and a long sleeve shirt or thin fleece 1/4 zip long sleeve under without feeling stuffed.
Size S on the other hand, offers a lot more room in the torso and arm hole area. The sleeve length is a bit longer than XS but can be easily fixed by cinching the write tab.
The torso length reaches just above the pubic bone in the front and in the middle of the behind in the back. PERFECT!! The bodice is curved therefore much more polished looking than boxy jackets.
The fabric is stiff but soft (i know, weird). In black the whole effect is sharp, like you are wearing an official FBI jacket or something. It sure looks nice going for a casual dinner in town or traveling. Black doesn't scream "I just came down from the trail" look.
The only thing I don't like is the big yellow MH logo on the chest. A smaller or discrete one would be a lot better.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Offwidth Jacket - Women's:
I am 5'4" 115lb proportional female. I got the XS in black.
The back is slightly longer than the front (reach right in the middle of my backside).
The cut is fitted in the torso and more generous in arms. I can fit a camisole, a short sleeve tech T, and a 100 density microfleece long sleeve, all without any tightness under this jacket. You can definitely wear a windbreaker or a thicker/warmer jacket over it if weather required.
The fabric is soft but dense therefore the it is not exactly light weight (if you are a minimalist) but should be good for light drizzle and wind.
The neck reaches to the chin (covers the whole neck) and is standing but not too stiff.
The wrist can be tightened (velcro tab)
Overall, it looks really, really sharp. I really love the fit (don't like loose jacket). It'd be a terrific looking jacket off the trail/slope and for traveling.
