            This would be perfect if it provided sun protection, but apparently it doesn't--at least there is no mention of it. Midweight MTS items offer it, and apparently lightweight MTS items used to but do not any more now that they are made from a Polartec fabric. Very disappointed. Not sure if I will keep it as I had hoped to wear as sun-protective outerwear.

              got this top and matching bottoms to wear under scrubs while on a medical mission in Peru. the top is very comfortable, doesn't stretch, feels lightweight but kept me warm on very cold mornings. no chafing or rubbing. could have been tiny bit longer in the torso but I am tall (5'9"). my only complaint is a tag on the left side seam was annoying.

              I bought this thermal top and the matching pants for myself when I decided to go to college in Michigan. I am so happy to have them! The set is not only lightweight, easy to layer, and warm, but is also (incredibly enough) very fashionable. I feel as though I could even wear the top by itself if I wanted to.

              I tend to layer with these pieces even though they are relatively warm and cozy simply because they are not very windproof. I can handle cold air with them, but the wind blows right through and steals any body heat you were hoping to conserve. Usually, I can feel comfortable in 45-48 degree weather with a light breeze if I am wearing a light camisole, the thermal top, a t-shirt, and a light sweatshirt. I don't wear any extra layers under my jeans besides the thermal pants and feel perfectly fine.

              Overall, this is a great product, especially for layering up in the cold weather.

                I just happened to be in Denver before going camping at Rocky Mtn. National Park and picked up this shirt to use as a base layer. I found it to be a very good addition to my lightweight, yet warm, camping clothes. It kept me warm during several days of rain while I was camping and felt great next to my skin. It washed up nicely too with no stretching. I like this better than the 100% silk long underwear that I have from another nationally known outdoor clothing retailer from Maine since it resists runs much better.

                Great product! Very comfortable under my regular clothes. Totally "wicked" sweat away from my body - but wet transfered to my on top clothing. I would wash in the sink at night and hang in front of the radiator and would be 100% dry in the morning. The v-neck is a little weird in how it goes down in the front but the sides stay quite high on my neck so it would be visible under my shirt but I didn't really mind.

                I bought this because I was visiting my parents in Sweden over Christmas 2010 and I didn't have long underwear. They definately kept me warmer and were easy to keep clean. Thanks!!
