The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about REI Nodder +25 Sleeping Bag - Kids':
This is a good bag for kids. Got it for my 11 year old daughter for camping and backpacking and I expect her to use it for a few years. I will say to those who complain about the included sack: it is not a stuff sack, it is a packing and storage sack. Most all sleeping bags are sold without a "stuff" sack as that is usually a personal preference/option. We used a "real" stuff sack with this bag and it compacts just fine, so don't let those previous negatives disuade you in that regard. I don't really trust most temp. ratings and I would say this bag is likely closer to 30 or 32 degrees and not 25. Below freezing one needs a bigger synthetic bag or a down bag. Overall perfect for a kid and the under $100 price tag is why I bought it.

Comments about REI Nodder +25 Sleeping Bag - Kids':
Bought this for my 2 year old son in 2009 for camping up on Gunflint Lake in early June. It has gotten chilly at night, down into the lower 30's. I would check on him frequently, concerned, but i had NOTHING to be worrried about! He was super toasty and slept like a dream with just his jammies on. I cinched it so it stayed up over the top of his head (because his hat so didn't stay on) and used the bag cord on the bottom to make it the perfect length so he didn't slide down into the bag. Thrilled with the purchase!!! I agree that it does not pack down very small, but for the couple hundred feet we haul our gear to our campsite it isn't in issue. And the peace of mind on those cold nights is worth the extra bulk. Highly recommend!

Comments about REI Nodder +25 Sleeping Bag - Kids':
I bought a Nodder about about a year ago. My oldest son has used it a few times for Fall camping and it has been great. The bag is easy for kids to use with the big strong zippers. We have not had any problem with the zippers getting caught. Last week I took my two boys camping on Mount Hood, so I bought a second Nodder. We had 27F Temperatures and the boys slept perfectly all night. These are great bags. I wish I had these when I was a kid.

Comments about REI Nodder +25 Sleeping Bag - Kids':
We bought this bag for our son to use backpacking. Unfortunately it wasn't available at the local store and we ordered it sight unseen. We found that the stuff sack is very large and the fill not very compressible, so it took up nearly the whole inside of our son's small backpack, leaving hardly any space for other items. Because the stuff sack is sewn onto the bag, it's not a simple matter to just trade for a smaller or compression stuff sack. This bag was otherwise comfortable, relatively lightweight, and would be fine for car camping, but unsuitable for packing in a backpack sized for a relatively small kid.

Used this for my 2.5 yr old (his sistes have north face kids bags) but this bag a great trick of being able to use the attached stuff bag as a cinch to shorten the bag length so he wouldn't slide down and get smothered..as an extra precaution I left the zips on either side unfastened about 4 inches and he was snug and safe in there all night and felt like the big kids. I took one star off because I felt the hood slit (used to make a pillow) was way too large and though I had a kid younger then recommended use it I felt my older kid could also easily fit her head into the slit, so I turned it inside itself which made a pillow but meant the hood didnt have a nice cozy edge..think Ill just put a few stitches in there and itll be perfect...the stuff bag is fairly large I think if you were to get a smaller bag you'd be able to compress it way more ,but we were in the car so no big deal...I'd highly recommend this bag, with a caution if you are to use on smaller kids (the parents problem not the bags)
