A very cute and stylish coat. I saw a medium in the store in gray and tried it on and loved it BUT it was too small (couldn't fit a sweater under it in the winter). I am usually a size 8. I ordered a Large but sadly it was too big on me so I had to return it. Frustrating as it's a great "dress up" coat for the weather here in the NW but just didn't fit right :-(
If you are lucky and it fits you correctly it is a great coat to purchase.

Perfect replacement for my well worn Earth, Wind, and Sea jacket which had served me well for 20+ years. Excellent for Southern hemisphere conditions and from hiking to walking in the park. Fits well and is lightweight and comfortable.

I bought this jacket because I needed a raincoat that would do the job of a raincoat but also would look professional as I indended to wear the jacket to work in the Spring and Fall. This is a terrific all purpose Spring/Fall jacket and I would wear it in both nice and rainy weather as it is quite breathable. The jacket cut is extremely flatering as well.
Unfortunately, the big con on this jacket is the velcro tabs down the zipper line. I often wear this jacket unzipped and when you do the velco continually catches on the sleeve of the jacket near the wrist. It has completely destroyed the left sleeve in a short period of time and I can no longer wear this jacket to work as it looks ratty because of the damaged due to the velcro.
I would highly recommend the jacket if it didn't have the velcro but because of that I would not purchase it again nor recommend it as the item self destructs. I am giving 4 stars though because 3 wasn't enough to convey how much I actually like the jacket had it actually lasted. I bought a new jacket yesterday from REI (Mountain Hardware) that is similar looking but sans velcro. Hopefully this one turns out better.

I love the style of this jacket. I just moved to Seattle from SF Bay Area and this jacket was what I needed here. The length is what I like the most. The one thing that irritated me was that I usually wear a small, but I had to go to a medium with this jacket. The shoulders felt tight and narrow for me. Even the medium is still a little tight, but not like the small. OR maybe my shoulders are getting broader or I'm just getting fatter. Who knows? It still felt like the sizing was running kind of small. But I still think its a good jacket.

This jacket looks very flattering and cute with everything. Yes, it's much more attractive than the pictures of it here. It's very feminine and classy. You can wear it out- I just wore it with a dress to an elegant dinner. Or you can wear it to work or camping. It's not super warm, but I bought a size I can wear over a warm sweater. As I tried it on, three different women in the store passed me and said, "That's your jacket. Get it for sure." I feel that I made a great purchase that will get a lot of practical use.

Right now I am in Japan. The weather has been mixed; rain, sun, wind, warm, and cold. Before I left US, I bought this jacket since it is light weight and thought it is perfect for travel. I was right. By adjusting what I wear under, I have been dry and comfortable. I think I can continue wear this even after I come back to US. This jacket should work well for California weather through year long. As for size, I normally wear petite xs or s. I am 5'3" and 93 lbs. I tried both regular xs and s at the store and decided to buy s, since I can wear heavy sweat under and still some room left. The sleeve is still a little too long for me but I roll it up a little and that is fine. The cons are wrinkles and velcro. I packed it in my backpack and came out all wrinkled. I read other reviews and fixed velcro problem and so far so good. But still stay away from wearing scarves. Thank other reviewers for great advise!

I love this jacket for San Francisco weather. You can wear it pretty much all year round. I can wear it to work, because it's cute and professional, but I can also wear it camping. I love how long it is since I have lots of shirts and sweaters that are long and most jackets leave them sticking out like a tail. It's warm enough for winter with a sweater or hoodie underneath. I'm normally a medium, but that seemed a bit small to wear with a hoodie underneath, so I ended up getting a large. It's a little too long for me, but I'm very pleased with it overall. I wear it every day!

I live in Seattle and this jacket is perfect for the winter. You have to layer with a fleece or sweater underneath when it's really cold. But it blocks the wind and keeps you dry when it's raining. I got the gray, and even though I normally wear a medium, I got the large due to tight fit and so I could layer. Overall, I love it!
