The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about REI Trekker 1.0 Self-Inflating Pad - Kids':
I haven't taken it outside yet, but I tried it out in the living room to see if it would work like I hoped, and it does! I'm 5'4.25" and my heels fit on the edge and the back of my head just barely fits on the edge. No problems with a pillow of course.
This has to be the best deal on REI if you're a shorter person looking for a quality inflatable pad

Comments about REI Trekker 1.0 Self-Inflating Pad - Kids':
I was planning my first backpacking trip with my 4 year old son and I needed to get him a sleeping pad. Since he is only 4, it needed to be somewhat compact and light as I was carrying an extra sleeping bag and pad, on top of all the other essentials for the two of us for the evening.
I almost got him a z-lite pad but then saw this. Knowing how much he likes my thermarest, I figured I would just get him his own inflatable pad. It fit the bill, in our budget, something he could use for a while, compact and light enough. In addition, I was never a fan of closed cell foam pads, so I figured he could use the same luxury as me.
It packs up super small for a pad, comes with a compression strap and a sack so you can make sure it is taking up as little space as possible. So that was very nice when I packed it up. When we got to camp I unrolled it and laid it out, his sleeping bag was just a tad longer than the pad, which is fine as he has years still to grow into both. Width was a perfect fit.
He laid down, I asked him if he was comfortable and before long the kid was out. He woke up refreshed and said he slept great. Rolls up and packs up easy as well.

We bought this for our kids to try out (7 and two 4 year olds). The 4 yr old used it for a week of camping and had no complaints.
While I didn't sleep on it, I did lay out and could fit (I'm a 5'3" woman). We're planning to buy 2 more for our other two kids.
This packs very small which is perfect. The kids will use this on sleep overs too.

Comments about REI Trekker 1.0 Self-Inflating Pad - Kids':
My friends gifted me with the Thermarest Luxury sleep pad which is a nice cushy pad but way too heavy for backpacking. After attending a free REI Backpacking for Women class, I started looking at sleep pads.
I took it backpacking this weekend and I slept just fine. I'm 5'0" & 100 lbs & my feet were just barely off of the sleep pad but I didn't really notice. The pad is much narrower so make sure to take that into account. It can fold in half before you roll it which makes it quite compact.
If you can get kids items to work for you, save your money!
