The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Columbia River Ashworth Turtle Knife:
This is a great, handy knife! The design is very creative and it would be a great gift for anyone. It is very small and takes up little room in your pocket. Some pocket knives take up too much room in your pocket. Not this one, it is the perfect size and is sharp. It can also be used as a money clip.

Comments about Columbia River Ashworth Turtle Knife:
This knife was a gift (Thank you Lisa!) and was an excellent choice. I love pocket knives, and have several, I also use a money clip rather than putting bills in my wallet. This little pocket knife has served me day in, day out for over a year as both my regular blade and my money clip. I open packages, cut small rope and twine, and have even used it when something larger was called for and it did a great job all around. CRKT is a quality company, and this mini folder proves that yet again.

Comments about Columbia River Ashworth Turtle Knife:
Saw this online and thought it was a wonderful concept, but wasn't impressed when I got it in hand. Opening the blade was difficult and slow with both hands! Its small. Too small. I don't have big hands, but it is basicly held between the thumb and index finger. So you can apply only as much pressure as you have finger strength. On top of that, its made for looks, so the finish is very smooth and gives even less controlability. The lock looks weak. Closing it also took both hands and a fair bit of pressure and with a blade that short seemed almost scary.
It looks really nice, especially in black. But I just couldn't get myself to buy it. I was looking to carry it as a money clip and have a cutting edge on me at all times. However the clip is very short and stiff and I could hardly imagine sliding a couple bills into it, much less cliping it onto a belt.
I went for the Dajo Ascent knife instead and I'm glad I did.

Comments about Columbia River Ashworth Turtle Knife:
Small enough to be useless. I can't think of any string to cut with this blade, as mentioned in other comments, except maybe dental floss??
The screw is too small and it was difficult to assemble/disassemble. You wil need an eyeglass screwdriver to assemble/disassemble.
The phrase"composite" should say "plastic".
The blade opening/closing is difficult.
I was expecting a whole lot more for the price.
About the size of a silver dollar, but worth less! (get it worthless??, works on 2 levels)

Comments about Columbia River Ashworth Turtle Knife:
This thing is great, and the blade is very sharp! A very stout little blade. Hard to find knives that are short AND sturdy... this fits the bill. I am sure the Dajo Ascent is a better pick if you want a more useful knife, but this is much more stylish if (like me) you mostly plan on using it as a moneyclip/key fob. (I already carry around a multitool so the blade is a backup for me.)
WORD OF WARNING: The moneyclip part comes uninstalled. It includes the piece and the screw you need in the package. BE CAREFUL when assembling - you must remove one of the marbled inlays and replace it with the moneyclip. The screws are TINY and easily lost. They are also easy to strip if you use the wrong sized screwdriver. After breaking the small driver bit on my leatherman, cutting myself, and losing the screw, i gave up and just used some gorilla glue. Works great!
