Comments about Serfas FP606 Dual Stage Bike Pump - '09 Overstock:
This seems to have a different pump head from most other Serfas Schrader/Presta floor pumps. This one is difficult to get properly seated for a good seal on both valve types, and then is VERY difficult to remove from the valve stem, especially from Presta valves. I would have returned it for that reason alone, but in addition, the one I bought has a small leak at the base of the silver tube coming up from the base. Otherwise it seems like a nice pump--easy to pump and solidly built with lots of metal. I had high hopes for this pump that seems to be in the upper end of the Serfas floor pump line. It's going back.

Comments about Serfas FP606 Dual Stage Bike Pump - '09 Overstock:
I have an older serfas pump which I have never really loved, the single outlet dual-purpose head is very difficult to get properly seated on any valve. This pump has changed that, the head has two holes one for schrader and the other for presta, and it seats perfectly every time. I now love to use my pump. This pump also seems fairly well built. It comes with a storage handle that holds needles for balls, which is handy, but comes loose a little too easily. The high pressure setting is maybe a bit gimmicky too. I guess if you didn't have a shock pump at the trail head you could use it, I've never used it for that purpose though. Great pump for the money.

Comments about Serfas FP606 Dual Stage Bike Pump - '09 Overstock:
As another reviewer mentioned, the head is extremely hard to get off of the stem! I used it on presta valves. It was so hard to get off that I caused myself 2 flats (ironically enough) while trying to take the head off the stem after filling the tires up.
Also, the gauge is rather inaccurate. While you're pumping the tire up, it will stay around 100 and then all of a sudden shoot up to 130 or so, making it very hard to get the right pressure.
Great price but a terrible pump; not worth it. Spend a few more bucks and get something worthwhile.

I bought this pump a couple weeks ago and, so far, it seems great. It connects well to both kinds of valves, feels solid, and has an easy to read dial.
