The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Oakley Jawbone Sunglasses:
I went for function over fashion (personally I think these are very ugly). Black frames with grey lenses. The second lenses are yellow and there is a second set of nose pads; I have not tried either yet.
I use these glasses with my Giro Atmos cycling helmet. This was the first helmet I have used for road biking that did not have the visor. I found using my low profile glasses that my eyes got dry fast and there was a lot of glare due to the sun shining into my eyes over the top of the glasses.
I went to REI and tried on the Jawbones and they felt right and looked like they would work well. I used them the weekend of 08/01/09 on a century ride in Park City Utah. It was a warm very sunny ride with a good bit of climbing and decent.
The glasses were comfortable, protected my eyes well, did not fog up, and there was no sun glare. The glasses worked very well. I am very pleased with the purchase so far.

Comments about Oakley Jawbone Sunglasses:
Unloaded my Radars for these as I needed something with easier lens swapping. I ride my bike to work often and in the winter I need a light lens to simply block wind in the morning, and a dark one to block the sun on the ride home. The included pouch has separate compartment for each spare lens and the glasses, so it's easy to pocket carry the spares.
Peripheral view is excellent on my face. There is only a subtle bordering from the frame. I'd rather see frame than the non-shaded ground reflections left by the Radar Range or Flaks.
Big plus for me is they look better than Radars or Flak Jackets for when you're on-the-town. I felt like a dork wearing Radars when I wasn't sporting around.
On all my Oakleys (currently down to 8), they have resisted scratching really well. I have dropped them, lens down, on tile, sand and gravel and have not had a scratch yet. I am in love with Oakley's lenses. I have never had a better quality of lens or better selection of lenses to suit any lighting situation. Would love if Oakley could offer the Titanium Iridium or Gold Iridium lens options for the Jawbone. But, VR50 Black Iridiums are working quite well for my blue-sensitive eyes.
My only complaint is the amount of airflow passing between the bridge and my nose. The Radars had no airflow over my nose, making them better in cold wind scenarios. Even this is really of little concern as the affect is minimal.

Comments about Oakley Jawbone Sunglasses:
I'm a recreational cyclist who lives on the side of a 10,000 volcano. That means I have no flat rides! I could never find a pair of glasses that deflected the wind on the downhills and wouldn't fog as I slogged uphill. These do both without a hitch.

Comments about Oakley Jawbone Sunglasses:
Normally huge fan of Oakley. Wanted to like these glasses since I need a replacement pair. Tried on these and was disappointed with the overall fit. The ear pieces are pretty thin given given how much weight is in the front. Also, I noticed that the bolts that the frame pivots on really are noticeable to the person wearing the glasses. They stand out in the periphery and are silver against a black frame. I asked an Oakley shop about custom color bolts and they said even their anodized color bolts are silver on the inside still. Not worth [$]. Will stick with Radar or Half Jackets for biking and running.
