Comments about Victorinox Swiss Army 2.0 Watt LED Flashlight - '08 Closeout:

I have two of these flashlights that came with SAKs. Fortunately these lights were not the purpose of the purchase, and the knives were still a better deal with the light than without. I mainly use this light on my nightstand when I have to get up in the night and don't want to lose my night vision. It is dim enough for that.

I have a Fenix E01 that is brighter and smaller, and the single battery in that lasts longer than the two batteries in this. For a small light this one is ok unless you compare it to other mini LED lights - then this one is seriously underperforming. The case is nice, and it has a glass lens cover, but the switching mechanism is not super reliable and the bulb is as dim as an incandescent (batteries last about as long, too). One good thing about this light is the dispersion of the focus. The light is pre-focused, but there are no rings and the beam diffuses nicely. It makes it very easy to see things you are looking for.

Other than the nice focus and glass lens cover, I can see no real reason to purchase this light when there are so many better options available.
