Comments about Metolius FS Mini Biner Wiregate Carabiner:
I love these biners for racking my gear. Easy to tell what piece Im pulling up when I have my hip jammed against a wall.

Comments about Metolius FS Mini Biner Wiregate Carabiner:
I use these to make extendable slings. They are a compact size and rope clipping is easy if you have good technique. A little expensive but you get what you pay for. I am planning to buy more for my trad rack.

Comments about Metolius FS Mini Biner Wiregate Carabiner:
I never liked using accessory "non load bearing" carabiners for my keys, water bottle, chalk bag, etc. as I knew I wouldn't want to rely on them in an emergency for bail outs, or anything of the sort. The Metolious FS Mini is the perfect answer to that problem. its full strength ratings & small compact size make it the perfect biner to use for any accessory. i replaced all my cheap keychain carabiners for these, and I find myself suggesting them to anyone I climb with who still uses the "non load bearing" biners for their keys or accessories. the gate opening is a tad small, but it still functions very very well for its size.

Comments about Metolius FS Mini Biner Wiregate Carabiner:
First off Kudos to Metolius for putting out a full strength caribineer in a mini size. I don't like to use "accessory" biners from [...]when I'm out climbing. Unfortunately, that means that I usually have a couple of full size caribineers hanging on my harness, water bottle, chalk bag etc. which is fine, but they do add up.Having a couple of these to hold my water, gloves etc. is nice. Now I know that if I have to use my last caribineer, it's not going to be one of those "NOT FOR CLIMBING" jobs that usually seem to end up on my rack no matter how hard I try! The bad is that the size is very small - the gate is big enough to get the rope in, but it's a tight fit. These aren't much good for actual climbing, but it's nice to know if I had to clip them into an anchor, then they are going to do the job.
