Comments about CamelBak Kids' Bottle - 13 oz.:
I have one of the big versions of these camelbak bottles, and my 18mo son loves to drink from it-- just gets a huge kick out of the straw, and pushing the nozzle open and closed. I bought him the kiddie version today, and not only did he immediately love it, too, but I noticed that the top on this one looks like a much improved version of mine. The spout can actually come all the way out for easier cleaning and then get pushed back in place, AND the piece you push on to open and close it looks much sturdier/stronger (the plastic part on my big bottle broke after a few months). I'm actually thinking of buying another one of these just so I can switch the lid out to use with my bottle. ; )

Comments about CamelBak Kids' Bottle - 13 oz.:
My 3 year-old son loves his new CamelBak Better Bottle. It has a fun design, fits in his hands and is easy to use. The new plastic does retain odors, so he uses it for water only. Still a great product for children and parents trying to cut down on the disposable plastics.

Comments about CamelBak Kids' Bottle - 13 oz.:
The idea and concept are great, my 4 year old loves it. It's easy to use, it holds a lot and can be dropped without causing damage. One problem I've noticed is that it sometimes leaks, not every time, but sometimes it just kind of drips slowly out of the mouth piece. My main concern is with cleaning, it's nice that the mouth piece comes completely out but it can "collect" stuff inside that is a major pain in the you-know-what to clean. Some of it just won't come out, I've tried different methods but regardless what I do it's a pain. If I were to purchase this again, It would be for water only (no juices)and i would clean it immediately after use (which means no over nighters).

Live in Missouri...not high altitude and it is always leaking through the spout. Also if you child likes to chew on the spout don't buy...it will rip apart easily!

Comments about CamelBak Kids' Bottle - 13 oz.:
We just purchased this for our 2 year old because he always wanted our camelbak better bottle and so we got him his own kids version and the first night we had it the mouth peice started to leak we thought it was just loose but it wasnt, it leaked from the rubber peice on the underside of lid, so all I can say is good luck taking it from them once they have it, you better have a backup!! the only reason we gave it 2 stars was because it is a great size and bottle they just need a better bottle lid! we will probably try the nalgene bottle someone else talked about!!
Service and delivery comments:
as far as delivery and customer service REI is probably one of the best!!

Comments about CamelBak Kids' Bottle - 13 oz.:
It works well enough, but it is hard to clean with all the parts and takes some fiddling to get it back together correctly. Nalgene makes a much better kids water bottle and it is easy to clean and put back together and it has all the pros that this one does.

We returned the first 2 after about 6 months because they leaked. The next two we bought started leaking after about two months. Ready to return and try something different.

My 3.5 yr old loves it....his consumption of water has increased 10 fold. He can control the volume and I dont worry about spills. Yes, it will leak at high altitudes, but all you have to do is take a sip to release the pressure. A no brainer. So much easier to clean than all those multi piece built in straw cups. An yes, as with all cups you put any beverage other water in....you will have to clean after each use. Great product. I highly recommend.

Comments about CamelBak Kids' Bottle - 13 oz.:
I find that when my son and I fly or drive through different elevations, the valve will leak if it's in the "drinking" position. If it's closed, it will certainly spew liquid everywhere when opened. On several airplane trips, it was leaking water onto my feet from where I had it hanging. On a recent trip from sea level to 7000 feet, it leaked water all over my son's car seat. The only consolation is that it doesn't leak as much as the "grown-up" Camelbak bottle. I had a half-inch of water in my cup holder on that recent car trip. So sad!!!

I bought this for my 10 month old because she kept stealing my bottle. She takes the thing with her everywhere. I like it because it doesn't leak like sippy cups. I am thinking about getting her another one for whole milk when she turns 1, so she can have her water bottle and her milk bottle.
