Offering maximum ventilation and a great look on the slopes, the POC Receptor BUG ski helmet enhances your protection from the park to the backside and beyond.

  • External ABS shell joins with an internal polycarbonate shell bonded to a shock-absorbent expanded polystyrene layer, all of which produces a helmet of exceptional strength
  • Ventilated-Double-Shell-Anti-Penetration (VDSAP) technology funnels air between inner and outer shell; VDSAP maintains protection while promoting airflow
  • Ventilation can be closed on cold days
  • Comfortable foam padding can be changed to personalize fit and can be removed for cleaning

          Comments about POC Receptor BUG Ski Helmet:

          By far the most comfortable and well fitted helmet I tried on at REI. Unfortunately it seems the designers thought about adding a goggle clip at the last minute. The clip attaches to the bottom of the back of the helmet and is flimsy stiff plastic that has no room if your goggles have a plastic clip centered in the back where it needs to fit under the goggle clip. Also the goggle clip sits low on the helmet and therefore pulls your goggles down on your face. Every other helmet I looked at had goggle clips or a securing device a little higher up on the back of the helmet. I loved the green colored helmet and really wanted to get it, but talked myself out of it due to the poor goggle attachment.
