The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Eton Solarlink FR360 Radio:
I purchased the older model without the solar panel for myself, then decided to give it to my father since we both live in Hurricane prone areas. I recieved this model in 2009 for Xmas. I discovered that the device needs to be reset in a complicated method after prolonged storage, even if you put your own batteries in the device it will still not work. The older model was great because you could crank it and it was ready, this model is really odd. you have to place it in the sun for 8 hours after it has been stored for a long period, you cant even crank it to charge it, I contacted the company about the problem and they gave me this list of steps I need to do before I can use it, I figured that was just silly, what if there was an emergency and I needed that radio for important info, well I would have it because the darn thing wouldn't work unless I went through the steps which takes a day. Don't purchase this one if you are going to rely on it as an emergency radio. Purchase the non-solar model. They work great.

Comments about Eton Solarlink FR360 Radio:
I originally got this as an emergency backup for my cell phone when I go camping. I left it out in the sun to charge up- and when i got back (admittedly hours later) the clear panel had popped out and the black casing had warped to the point the buttons no longer worked. Thank goodness it wasn't an emergency. Needless to say, I returned it.

Comments about Eton Solarlink FR360 Radio:
I can't say much about this product because I never actually used it in a real world situation and never tested all of the features. I only tested the USB charging feature on my iPhone 3Gs and it did not work. It works on older iphone models, just not the 3Gs, which is the reason I bought device. Needless to say I have returned this item.
Other than the lack of support for iPhone 3Gs this looks like a decent product.

Comments about Eton Solarlink FR360 Radio:
This product actually does work with iPhone 3GS despite the earlier posts. It is not a PRACTICAL charger, but more for emergency uses. The instructions with the product state that you need to rotate the dynamo charger at least 2 times per second in order to charge a smart phone. However drop from that speed and an iPhone will state that the device is a non-approved charger, and will not charge. The main reason that its impractical as a charger is that 20 minutes of cranking the dynamo will only give you about 5 minutes of call time. Certainly enough for an emergency, not much more. Other solar chargers are better for trail use, as they are lighter and less work. This is nice if you're on the road or are in inclement weather, want a decent sounding am/fm radio, need an extra light source, need an alarm clock, or need emergency weather updates.
