- Interaction between inner and outer layers absorbs friction and shearing forces to prevent blisters
- Socks feature an inner layer of moisture-wicking Dri-WRIGHT® fabric for dry feet; outer layer of merino wool and mesh weave provides a barrier from heat or cold
- Inner layer is always smooth and un-dyed, with a hydrophobic surface against the foot
- Inner layer fabric content: 70% Dri-WRIGHT polyester and 30% nylon

I bought these to hike Wind River Peak at 13,092ft. These couldn't have worked out any better. I was very happy that my feet didn't get a single blister. I work on my feet alot, but I don't hike very often. I was worried about my feet because I was to cheap to buy new hiking boots. Even with my old clunkers my feet still remained protected. For a large part of the hike I was using trail running shoes, and stepped into some water after slipping on a rock soaking my foot. Even with a totally soaking wet shoe and sock, I still didn't get a blister. Great sock!!!

Have only used them on one trip. Wore them for 12 hiking miles the first day & had very comfy feet. Wore different brand the next day & ended up with major blisters on my heels. Pretty gross to wear the same 1st day socks for days 3 & 4, but I wasn't going to chance any more blisters. Yeah, I know - time for new shoes.
