I recently purchased these in the store and I broke them in during an extremely stormy weekened. I have to say that I was pleasantly suprised that I could even get women's snowshoes as I am taller, thus I weigh a little more plus a pack.

I used these shoes just this past weekend in an array of snow conditions (powder, ice, etc) and I was pleased with their performance. The crampons offered traction that I felt good about and the bindings were secure. In rolling terrain I felt comfortable in them and didn't have to have a strange gait or stance as I have in the past with mens and unisex shoes.

I'm pleased with my purchase.

I was able to "try out" this brand first and loved everything about this snowshoe except how heavy it is while walking and all the snow that flips up onto your backside especially when in deep snow.
