Comments about Alpina NNN BC 50 Backcountry Ski Boots - Men's:
These boots didn't hold up for me. I like to do multi-day treks using this equipment and if you aspire to take this sport in that direction go for a beefier boot. My metal ski edges cut the inner side of the boots creating drafts and water leaks. If you know that you are going to take it easy on some mild adventures and you are interested in getting a nice affordable package with semi supportive and waterproof boats you may really like these boots for the price. Have FUN!!!

Comments about Alpina NNN BC 50 Backcountry Ski Boots - Men's:
I love these boots. They've been used on touring skis, skate skis, snow shoes and crampons. They're moderately warm, though you may want overboots for around the site when snow camping.
In the 3 years I've had them, I've found these boots true to size, comfortable and durable.
With NNN bindings, I'm excited any time I can maneuver a tele turn (limited lateral support), but the plastic heel cup and velcro strap provide ample control to let you at least traverse down anything.

Comments about Alpina NNN BC 50 Backcountry Ski Boots - Men's:
I saw the other two reviews, but wasn't sure which boot it was when I was in the store. I'm a fairly new skier, and got these boots. After wearing them three days over a fair number of miles, I have to say I'm happy. My feet were warm and comfy, no problems. In fact, they were so comfy that when I got home and put on my slippers, my slippers felt funny - the boots were more comfortable. I'm a person who often has trouble with shoes that don't breathe, because my feet sweat a lot, but there were no problems in that department either.

Comments about Alpina NNN BC 50 Backcountry Ski Boots - Men's:
I had the same experience as described above. I've tried two different sizes, hoping possibly it was just a poor fit, but both pairs of boots gave me terrible blisters on my heels. I can't imagine anyone thinking that plastic pushing through the padding on the heel could be comfortable. A poor design and waste of money.

Comments about Alpina NNN BC 50 Backcountry Ski Boots - Men's:
I just got back from a 30 min ski on a packed trail with gentle terrain and I have dime sized blisters on the inside/upper part of each of my heels. When I felt down in the boot for what was causing the issue I could feel a plastic bump pushing through the padding. They felt comfy in the store, but once I started pushing off on skis I could feel the bump almost instantly. I guess Alpina forgot to have someone actually try skiing in these boots before they started selling them. Complete garbage. Do not by these boots.
