We designed the Novara Mia with a step-through frame, suspension fork and seatpost and an upright ride to give you everything you want in an all-comfort, all-fun ride!

  • Comfort design places the rider fully upright, optimizing comfort and steering control as well as visibility in every direction
  • Suspension fork and seatpost smooth out bumps in the road; women's saddle features memory foam for the ultimate in cush and comfort
  • Mia's 24 speeds are intuitively simple to use thanks to twist shifters; the high-to-low gearing makes getting around hardly any effort at all
  • Easy-handling Mia sports 700c wheels with combo tread tires to zip you quickly down the promenade or campus path
  • Accommodates fenders for protection from wet conditions and a rear rack for increased load carrying options (fenders and rack sold separately)
  • Chainring guard helps keep clothing from getting caught in chainring; kickstand keeps bike upright for hassle-free parking and storage

After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Not to worry, this is typical of all new bicycles and simply reflects that cables have stretched or their housings have seated themselves into final position. To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly.
