Offering super stability, the Alpina Control cross-country skis are ideal for recreational touring at your local Nordic center and trips out of the tracks on logging roads.

  • Available in shorter-than-traditional lengths and featuring a 53mm waist, the Alpina Control ski is sturdy, stable and great for in- and out-of-track skiing
  • Waxless Posi-Grip base features a raised traction pattern, as opposed to a pattern that is cut into the base, that provides exceptional traction for striding uphill
  • Wood core with cap construction creates a smooth, dependable flex
  • Scuff-Tuff plastic material is molded on top of the ski to increase durability and keep snow from collecting

    Comments about Alpina Control Cross-Country Skis:

    I bought these for those days after a snow when the trails aren't packed, or when there AREN'T any trails. They are wide enough not to break through unpacked snow but light enough to maneuver in tight spots. They are great for skiing on snowmobile tracks. I have other skis I use when the trails are well groomed, but in all other conditions these are my skis of choice.
