      I got these as part of a package after using rental gear for about 5 outings. It was a nice step up from the stuff we had been using. The boots go on easy and laces up securely. I have some minor concern about how the zipper will hold up. It feels like it kind of hangs a little when you close it so I am afraid it might be a little stressed but it may just be due to the kind of odd angle that it's on.

      Good level of comfort overall and seemed to offer good support. I wore the boots in the store for about a half hour and felt a little discomfort in my right sole but I never noticed it once I was out on the snow.

      I love the two point binding attachment system. I only have rental gear to compare against but this seems like my heel drops securely into the binding after every kick. No complaints so far.

      On sizing, I wear a 10-1/2 or 11 depending on the shoe and I found 11 in this boot a little loose so if you are between sizes, go for the smaller.

          Boots cames as part of REI Package. I have wider feet and am always concerned about comfort. They are really comfortable boots and warm. As far as comfort goes I tried on the boots from the other REI packages and these were by far the most comfortable. Was on the trails for two hours second time out and no issues. Very pleased with the boot so far.
