Built to handle the unexplored powder that's waiting off the lift as well as the groomed runs used to get there, the Salomon Shogun skis offer you the versatility to explore the entire mountain.

  • Full-wood core delivers direct transmission of power with precision and efficiency; designed for demanding skiers who require high performance
  • Bamboo fibers in the topsheet add natural flex and pop; crushed basalt is added to a fiberglasslike fiber that is placed above the wood core to absorb shock
  • Edgy Monocoque offers precise edge grip and efficient energy transfer from skier to snow for pulling off freeski maneuvers
  • Thermoplastic/elastomer Pulse Pads placed over the edges absorb vibrations, resulting in a smooth ride that softens ski-to-snow contact in tip and tail
  • Rocker technology features a progressive inverse camber that excels in soft snow and promotes stable performance on hardpack
  • Upward curvature, beginning 350mm back from tip, helps skis float high in the deep stuff; standard camber underfoot and in tail promotes stability and grip on groomers
  • Semi twin-tip tail lets you ride backwards if needed and stick the occasional switch landing
  • Strong polyethylene fiber threaded between the edges of the skis increases edge strength by 25% to withstand big impacts in the park and pipe
  • High-density P-tex 4000 graphite base absorbs wax well, glides effortlessly over snow and offers high abrasion resistance
  • Beefy metal edges withstand big impacts and improve shock resistance
