The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Bought these originally for a rafting trip in the Grand Canyon. They held up exceptionally well. And they even dried quickly after a hand-washing. I use them for the gym, rafting, and every day activities. Durable and retain their shape, even after 2 years. Would buy these again.

These socks are comfortable and fit well while cycling. They stay put and don't roll down in your shoes. But the stitching came apart at the top hem and made the sock loose above the ankle. This allowed the sock to accumulate dirt, small stones and gravel while biking. Not your usual REI quality.

I wanted a little more cushion than the typical running sock but not so much as the typical trail running sock, this product is perfect! I bought the socks and two hours later went running around and thru a marsh area where I love to play ;)' The socks didn't bunch or get that soaked feeling. The whole run was comfortable and I didn't get any of those pesky "hot-spots" during the run.

Bought 20 pairs of these back in 2006. I still have every pair and they are still holding up with no holes in them what-so-ever. They have a true fit to them and huge my feet just like I want them. I used to hate getting socks for Christmas from my grandma. I wish she gave me these back in the day instead of the knee-high stripped tube socks.

I wear these generally in day-to-day office settings. Not the greatest indicator, I know, but I move around a fair bit, lots of standing and walking on hard surfaces.
Really impressed with these. Comfortable, but not bulky. They stay in place, and wick moisture effectively.
Recycled fabrics and USA construction are excellent qualities as well, but the sock itself is just an excellent sock all-around for warm-weather active use, or year-round casual use (indoors, or other less active functions).

In the search bar on REI, i typed in Made in USA, and surprisingly there were tons of products. The socks being one of them. Whenever i buy a new product i try and find Made in USA first, then i go on to Europe, and Canada, i try to avoid the Asian made products.
So i lucked out on these socks, very very good product, and its Made in our good old beautiful US of A.
