Comments about Columbia Sportswear Snowed In Tunic Sweater - Women's:
This sweater is wonderfully soft. It's made from an acrylic chenille-like yarn. This was a little unexpected, because the picture made it look like more of a tight-woven cotton or wool. I should have read the specs more closely and realized it was acrylic.
The fit is also looser than the picture shows. I'm 5'3". For me, the size small was too big all over and an awkward length. In the past, I've found that Columbia products tend to have more of a "mature" cut and styling, and that holds true for this sweater. Don't expect chic - the acrylic yarn, loose fit, and logo-imprinted buttons make this more of a casual sweater. Also, the cable knit pattern is not as noticeable as it appears in the picture.
On the plus side, the charcoal grey color is very nice. This would be a comfortable sweater to wear while lounging around at home.

Comments about Columbia Sportswear Snowed In Tunic Sweater - Women's:
I just picked up this sweater at my local REI in small charcoal. It is super lightweight and very cozy. I do not normally buy acrylic, but loved this sweater so much I am willing to try it. It is long, but it is a TUNIC sweater (supposed to be long). It is the perfect length for me .... I'm 5'5". The sleeves are long, but look great rolled/cuffed up. The side and shoulder seams are purposely facing outwards... adds to the casual look. This sweater looks great with jeans and layered over another top. With the cold, wet weather we have been having, I am planning on wearing this sweater a lot.

Comments about Columbia Sportswear Snowed In Tunic Sweater - Women's:
This sweater is amazingly warm. It's soft and doesn't itch and is very lightweight, so I was surprised at how warm it was. I'm a little concerned with the material/yarn used. I hope it doesn't snag or pill. Time will tell.

Comments about Columbia Sportswear Snowed In Tunic Sweater - Women's:
I bought this sweater as an after Christmas gift to myself!! I wanted a soft midweight sweater that would go over most shirts and keep me toasty on those colder days. The softness of this sweater is unbelievable. I am 5'8" and bought the large so it would be comfortable for layering. It fits great, is warm but not bulky and I love the v-neck style. The sleeves are more than adequate and even have a bit more length to them than most sweaters. It is definitely more of a casual style but still has shape to it. I am very happy with it and it is washable...unlike many soft sweaters that tend to be dry clean only. It says handwashable but put it in a laundry mesh bag and use a front loader and it does fine. The acrylic content is a bummer but so far I have no piling or loss of softness. If you want a soft, warm, comfy sweather to layer this is a great bet. I have the charcoal and I love it.
