I've owned a few of these for the last 20 years and I loved each one. In that span, there have been some minor upgrades making this model an outstanding timepiece for rugged outdoor conditions.

This is my go-to watch for SCUBA diving, sailing, rafting, kayaking, backpacking, snowshoeing, camping, and doing field work in the wilderness as a get-down-in-the-dirt-and-rocks-geologist. Yes, I've managed to destroy a few of these, as nothing is indestructible. Nonetheless, I've always bought an identical replacement, and that's testament to how functional this watch is.

Here's what I really like about this watch: The band is sufficiently pliable to curve around my wrist, yet firm enough to prevent the watch from flopping around; the tip of the band has little raised stays that do a great job of keeping the band-loop in place ALL day under rugged use; the band's overall length is sufficient to fit over a wetsuit; each button is well guarded in a recesses, yet large and easy to push; the backlight is excellent, and the waterproofing has never failed me.
