I bought these for riding in the winter. The fit is loose for a biking shoe, but big enough to accomodate a thick sock and toe warmers (two if necessary, top and bottom). I went riding in high 20 to low 30 degree temperatures this weekend with nothing but thick socks and toe warmers on TOP of my toes - no booties - and my feet stayed warm the whole time. The shoe does a decent job of blocking the wind, but I wasn't able to test their water resisting abilities. With two toe warmers and decent socks, I would think these shoes could handle temps in the mid to low twenties without needing booties. Not for everybody, but just what I was looking for.

I bought these shoes to use as commuters and so far I couldn't be happier!

Out of the box they felt as comfy as running shoes--it would be easy to wear them all day and forget you even have cycling shoes on. Good support and stiffness in the sole. I've ridden through mud and puddles and feet stayed warm and dry but have not yet had the opportunity to ride in warm weather. It's possible they could get a bit toasty in the summer time but so far no problems and no regrets.

These were the second cycling shoes I have owned and I couldn't be happier. They fit and look great. While I haven't walked long distances in them I would believe they would be comfortable doing that as well. While they are warmer than my previous Nike shoes you still need some sort of additional protection when the weather gets below 45 or so.

I commute in these shoes 4 seasons. Out of the box they were comfortable to wear. They are water resistant to a degree. With temperature in the low 30s, I need to invest in a pair of booties. In the summer they breathed more than I thought they would.

I purchased these to ride the Colorado Trail Race (CTR) in 2010. At first I thought it would be a horrible shoe because it hurt my arches on the first 3 rides. After they broke in a little they never hurt again. I rode/hiked close to 500 miles of single track with these and they were perfect. They weren't water resistant like they say but is any shoe? I would recommend for any type of mountain biking. I have put close to 1000 miles on them in 2010 and they still have probably another 1000 miles of life left in them.
