    It won't stop a cholla cactus needle

      Comments about STOP Flats2 Tire Liners - 26 x 1.5 - 1.95:

      Well, the verdict is in, one ride and three cholla cactus needle punctures in the front tube. The liners have been in for a month. Pulled one needle out from the exterior tread, and two more from the inside casing (needle shafts had broken off below the exterior surface). All three needles penetrated the liner. This liner replaced a Slime brand liner that also did not stop cholla needles. In all fairness, I think cholla cactus needles are the sharpest on the planet and I don't think anything will stop them. Also, I'm running on Serfas Drifter tires with "integrated armor casing". Until I find something, it will be patch-patch-patch. The liners are better than nothing I suppose.
