Comments about STOP Flats2 Tire Liners - 700 x 23 - 25:
No flats in 2 years, just replaced my tires and had a Goathead thorn stuck in the tire but didn't get past the liner, also had a cut in the tire but no loss of pressure.
The liner was stuck to the inside of the tire as well as the tube when pulled off the rim so changing it on the road may take a little more time (but I never had a flat). I don't race so change in performance is not a concern as much as getting a flat.

Comments about STOP Flats2 Tire Liners - 700 x 23 - 25:
Second ride with these liners and I had a small puncture flat. I found the thorn in the tire and it was tiny, still went through the liner pretty easily. They also make your tires feel sluggish and I can see it in my avg. speed and total ride time. I can also feel them resisting in the corners. I'm mixed as to weather or not I want to use them because the trade off between performance and MABEY preventing a flat has me wondering.

Comments about STOP Flats2 Tire Liners - 700 x 23 - 25:
I had only 1 flat in over 10,000 miles of riding. A nail went thru tire and tire liner causing the flat. Tire liner and tube were replaced by the manufacturer at no cost to me (Lifetime Warranty). Great product and great manufacturer.

Commuting over a road being repaved = sharp gravel. Flat rear wheel almost everyday. Put these in - no flats since I installed them about two years ago. My tires had to be replaced due to wear and tear, but not the tubes!

Comments about STOP Flats2 Tire Liners - 700 x 23 - 25:
My friend and I went on a self-supported bike tour from NYC to Los Angeles, so we had plenty of weight on the bike. I wanted to experiment with tube liners so I had these put in before we left. He didn't. Final flat tally: Him, 20 flats plus a herniated tube. Me, ZERO. He does weigh more and was carrying slightly more gear, but we both had the same kevlar tires. Even at the end of the trip when my tires had huge gashes in them I still held air fine with no "tube hernias". I am completely convinced that these liners are the reason I started and finished the tour with the same tubes and now I don't even recommend special tires, but simply put these inside your stock tires and ride away. Some shops complain that they come loose or cut the tube, but that didn't happen after 3700 miles. I think it has more to do with the fact that shops want you to keep buying tubes. Save yourself the hassle and money!
