I can't give a full review of these boots as they run very small and I had to return them. I take a size 9 in every brand I wear--Keen, Born, Merrell, Ahnu, Mephisto, so I was pretty surprised that the size 9 Ruby boots were way too small, my foot was jammed up against the end. It was a real shame as they are cute, and appear well made and would probably be very comfortable if they fit. There were so small I can't decide whether I should re-order a size 9.5 or 10.

I had to return these. They have a insole somewhat like a Birkenstock that is raised all along the edge. The outside of my foot rested partially on this and was uncomfortable. I have a wide foot but usually fit a 10.5 Merrell or 11 Keen. These are very cute and seem sturdy - sad to let them go.

I received my boots for Christmas (He has such good taste!). I think these boots are great for everyday and casual wear. Great style for dress down or a little higher than dress down...not all the way to dress up. I have worn then with pants and casual skirts (Prana, The North Face but not Jones of New York), They are okay comfort wise for shopping and errands. I don't think they are comfy enough for dawn till dark and definitely don't be thinkn' about uneven terrain. Brick roads are about as uneven as you want to get. The cons are a little loose for my little narrower than average foot. No support in general but the straps adjust for a little better fit. The sole is not cushy (I agree with another review about the Birkenstock feeling sole) so you need to wear a well padded sock or two. Good traction and water resistant.
