The Fission SV jacket is the warmest Gore-Tex® Pro Shell jacket in the Arc'teryx lineup. It's not only insulated, but fully waterproof.

  • Constructed with PrimaLoft® Sport insulation, this fortress against the cold and wet maximizes warmth and storm protection
  • Sealed Pro Shell fabrics in different deniers shed wet precipitation, and are arranged to capitalize on efficient protection, durability and comfort
  • Laminated PrimaLoft synthetic insulation is soft and compressible and continues to insulate when wet; non-quilted construction increases efficiency of insulation
  • Insulated Drop Hood is helmet-compatible, and when dropped down allows the collar to zip up close around the neck to seal out snow and cold
  • Watertight, full-length front zipper features an insulated interior draft flap
  • Laminated, die-cut, rip-and-stick cuffs; laminated hem with 1-hand-adjustable pull cords
  • Articulated elbows ensure a comfortable fit
  • 2 zippered hand pockets and 2 interior drop-in mesh pockets
  • Below-hip-length cut with a dropped rear hem increases protection

    The wife has not ever had a real coat,always the questionable quality.
    Anyway i picked out this model for her as a gift and the fact it is cold and rains a lot here in southeast alaska;and on occassion i do take her out for a COLD boat ride in december. Anyway she tells me often that it is REALLY WARM and i dont usually zip it up!!
    Well my my happy wife! happy life!.
