Comments about CamelBak FlashFlo Hydration Waistpack - 45 oz. - '08 Overstock:
I use this camelback every time I go out running,I like the fact that it's not on my back but on my waist and no bouncing+ you can wear it either on your front or on either hip.

Comments about CamelBak FlashFlo Hydration Waistpack - 45 oz. - '08 Overstock:
I would not use this for anything but day hikes, it is quite good for that use.
But it is too big and bulky to run with (it swung too much for my taste) and is not suited for biking. When using for biking I have to crank down the belt to keep it from swinging around, but with the belt that tight it is very uncomfortable to ride with. I like the idea of having a small belt with my spare tube, tools, and water, but it just does not work. The water tube routing is awkward when on a bike...where do you clip it that does not either have the tube flapping around in your face or too low to access?

Comments about CamelBak FlashFlo Hydration Waistpack - 45 oz. - '08 Overstock:
I have the slightly older version bought a few years ago (the blue one). This is OK if I'm walking, but as soon as I start to lightly jog, the pack bounces a lot, especially if the bladder is full. Because the bladder is small it expands outward when filled with water so it is like a little football in the small of your back. The balance of this does not work when biking. (Use a bottle or a backpack with a hydration bladder.) Along with the placement of the straps on the pack that go around your waste this pack lends itself to some serious bouncing and shifting. Cinching it tighter around my hips or stomach just makes it uncomfortable and hard to breath. I use this for short hikes where I know I'm not running, but am going for exercise and want to travel light and it is fine. If you want a true running pack for your water, try something else.

Comments about CamelBak FlashFlo Hydration Waistpack - 45 oz. - '08 Overstock:
Though the compartment was the right size for me , and nice to have secure hook for keys...the pack was unstable and bouncy , specially when the bladder is full. Tried tightening the straps abut they just kept coming lose resulting in sag and renewed instability.
I returned it.
