Comments about REI Spring Gloves:
I really like these gloves. Rain just runs right off and your hands stay nice and dry. Perfect for hiking in cool, wet weather. They have a thin fleece liner that is sewn in at the cuff. The fleece liner does tend to get a bit bunched up if remove them and then try to put them back on with wet hands. I only found this to be a minor annoyance. The liners do not appear to be sewn in at the finger tips but rather, attached with some sort of adhesive inside the glove. After some finger wiggling, the problem is solved. I especially like the lock and release cords on the gauntlets. They're clearly marked and easy to use with the gloves on (one side to tighten, the other to release).

Comments about REI Spring Gloves:
As stated in earlier reviews when pulling the gloves off the liner does bunch up halfway down the finger sections which makes it a challenge to put back on but for me its not a deal breaker because I wanted a fitted, lightweight, durable, water/windproof gauntlet style glove for cycling down to 50 degrees and this glove has it all. As always my hands are not the easiest to find gloves for but at the risk of repeating myself I love that these gauntlet style gloves because they are waterproof and windproof, form fitting with goatskin palms (for manual dexterity), these features are the reasons I'll be keeping these gloves.
As for the liner bunching up in the finger sections I just take my time putting them on; besides the great fit is worth the extra 10-15 seconds. With REI's excellent return policy and desired features justify buying these REI Spring Gloves.

Comments about REI Spring Gloves:
The concept of a light, waterproof, breathable glove is good. They are dexterous enough to write while wearing. The liners are permanently attached at the wrist, but the fingers invert when you remove your hands, making the glove very difficult to put back on. If the liners were bonded appropriately to the shell, it would be a good glove.

Comments about REI Spring Gloves:
We'll they definitely are waterproof that is the good thing about them, but if you work in cold weather make sure to buy a liner because your fingers will be freezing if not. Sometimes my hands get very cold and I wonder if they are wet (about 30-35 degree weather)Mainly because the outside of the glove absorbs and holds the water, but their is a lining that prevents water from coming in. I know these are not made to hold heat really, but it would be nice if they did a little more. I'm constantly drying cars off for photoshoots on days that it rains. These help, but for the price I think I might try to find something else that suits my needs.
These are not a bad pair of gloves, good for doing casual things where your hands might get wet...hunting and things this would be good for. They are lightweight and fit decently (I have small hands so it's always hard finding ones that fit).
