REI Members get back an estimated 10% on this item as part of their annual member refund.

    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

by fromDon't waste your money!! Poor keyring attachment point. The tools are not user friendly like other micro-tools. I used to like Gerber but I fear they have gone cheap and some of their products show this!!!

by fromYou will lose this I spent more time looking for this knife than actually using it. The last time the spring popped off (while taking my keys out of my pocket), I gave a cursory look around on the ground and said "screw it."

by frombroke within a day Thought this was super cool looking and nice to have a small handy knife. However turns out the carabiner clip broke within a day. It is also so small that when I don't have it clipped to anything (since clip is broken) it proves difficult to find and not worth the search. The blade is SHORT which turns out not to cut much :( I know it didn't cost a lot but I am still disappointed! Also locking mechanism is difficult to undo.

by fromLooks cool but don't be fooled At first glance and during the first few days you will think this is a great product, a handy little multi-tool, but once the spring gate that keeps it on your key chain fails off, you will curse the day you bought it. I almost lost the tool when this happened and have never been able to fix it since. Once this tool loses it's portability and handiness because you can't attach it to anything, it is worthless.

by fromGood idea, poor execution I bought this knife because I thought that it seemed like a really good idea. It packages a small knife blade, screwdrivers, and a bottle opener into a small, light, and easy to use package (particularly so because it is easy to remove the knife from your key chain). The knife attaches to your key chain using a carabiner/gate style clip, which makes it easy to remove so you can more easily use the knife/tools. HOWEVER, the little bent wire that serves as the clip/gate rather easily comes off and is difficult to get back on if it comes all the way off. As far as the tools include are concerned, I think having the screwdriver blades is a GREAT idea for this small of a knife. But, due to the rather open structure of this knife, the blade can come open if the tip gets hooked on something. Also, if you tend to fidgit with your keys (as I sometimes do), it is easy for the tip of the knife to nick your fingertip since you can access the knife blade from the underside if you are not careful. The locking mechanism has also proven to be a bit troublesome as it is not particulary easy to use.

by fromSpring gate sprung off. I put this on my keychain as soon as I got it. Less than an hour later, I dropped my keys and the knife came off the keychain. Turns out that the spring gate popped out of its holes. I used my Leatherman multi-tool - How ironic is that? - to compress the spring gate just enough to get it back in the holes. It worked fine for about two days. Then I, as I unlocked my front door, I noticed the knife was gone. The spring had sprung again.I like Gerber products and have always had good luck with them, but, never got to use this one. Too bad.

by fromCool tool, but you will lose it You will lose this knife. The clip will come off. I removed mine and used an S-Biner to hold it my backpack. It fell off in the car. Cool looking, but not very functional.

by fromDisappointing I needed a small knife for work to open and break down boxes and I cannot carry a large knife at work. I read the poor reviews and bought it anyways thinking that it would work for my purposes having on my keys and having light use. I was wrong. Knife looks cool but the carabiner broke after a week or so. It is hard to open being so small. SO for a quick cut is was quicker to rip it with keys then to fiddle with this thing.
