Comments about Outdoor Research Aria Hoodie Down Jacket - Women's:
The moment i tried this jacket on, it was a perfect fit with the right amount of warmth. I love the teal color and enjoy wearing it to work. I have also used it as my backup jacket, rolled up in its sack and left it in the car and had to go to it several times. I have gotten many compliments on the lightness and the pretty color. I can wear it all day and not even realize I have a jacket on! This is definitely not for extreme winter conditions but down jacket can be worn as a mid layer in extreme conditions.

Comments about Outdoor Research Aria Hoodie Down Jacket - Women's:
Where I live, our weather can go from 30 degrees one day and 65 degrees the next. I don't want to end up with a coat closet for every temperature in between. This little jacket fit the bill nicely. Even with a short sleeve t-shirt, the jacket kept me warm.
I'm also a student. Moving from building to building and classroom to classroom, I run from cold to hot and space is often a premium. Last thing my classmates and I need is a big poufy jacket to take up space. I really like that I can fold this jacket down and into a pouch.

Comments about Outdoor Research Aria Hoodie Down Jacket - Women's:
I love the unique stitch pattern on this warm OR jacket. I bought it both to use on cold weather adventures and around school. It kept me warm on a snow camping trip and looks great going to class or out to dinner.
My only complaint is that it leaks down feathers at what seems like a faster than normal rate. I own other down products, and they release feathers far less often than this coat. Also, tiny feathers come out and cover my clothing under this jacket, leaving me looking like a chicken. I ended up returning it after buying it one year ago because I was tired of getting covered in feathers and worried about it losing its warmth. Very sad because I love it otherwise.

Comments about Outdoor Research Aria Hoodie Down Jacket - Women's:
Our snowshoe guide in Glacier had two of these jackets that he layered throughout the trip- I ordered one the minute I got home and I LOVE it! Warm, super light and fluffy but it stuffs into a coat pocket when you don't need it- this will be great as a layer if it's really cold or as a jacket when it is windy/cold but dry. I got berry and it is a great color- now my teenage daughters want one. I would recommend this jacket to anyone!

Comments about Outdoor Research Aria Hoodie Down Jacket - Women's:
This is a great jacket. It is my go to jacket. It's not too bulky (650 down). It's not the warmest down coat I own, but I bought it to be a lighter weight down, which it is. I wear this coat skiing, snowshoeing etc., and doing things that most coats are either too warm or not warm enough for me.
It comes with a compression sack and you can compress it small and take it backpacking. I compressed it down and put it in a vest pocket while snowshoeing one day.
I love this jacket! I think it is worth every penny.

Comments about Outdoor Research Aria Hoodie Down Jacket - Women's:
This is my favorite light weight down jacket that I have owned. I usually wear it for cold days when I find myself in town for the evening or for less active use. Typical of OR the style is great and the fit is perfect. If you are going out on the town on a cold night take this lightweight warm jacket as your date.

Comments about Outdoor Research Aria Hoodie Down Jacket - Women's:
This jacket is the perfect light belay jacket and doubles as a fashion piece with beautiful lines. I use Aria Down Jacket as my belay jacket while ice climbing or rock climbing on moderately cold days. The hood fits comfortably over my helmet and the size of the jacket (I am a true medium) accommodates my other layers. I also love the fact that it packs down and fits in a small pouch (that comes with the jacket) that I can clip to my harness and take with me on multi-pitch climbs. This jacket is light and warm. I wore this jacket at least 60 times in the field last season and it still looks great.
I checked out many light down jackets in this price point (not all had hoods). I think the Aria is just highly functional and a beautiful coat with a flattering cut. I love wearing it out on the town after a great day of climbing.

Comments about Outdoor Research Aria Hoodie Down Jacket - Women's:
This jacket is so lightweight it doesn't seem like it could be that warm but as soon as you put it on you feel toasty warm all over. The hood is especially helpful to keeping all that body heat enveloped in a warm "cocoon". The whole jacket compresses easily in its own stuff sack so you can pop it in whatever pack you're carrying for instant warmth whenever needed.
