    I just bought this jacket for my fiancee before we headed out to the sierras, and she loved it! Temps dropped below freezing every night we were there, and she never even mentioned being cold(first time ever!). It packs down small, and the shoulders and arms are made of a stronger fabric than the rest of the jacket, so those high-wear areas should hold up for quite some time! She looks great in it too, something that can't be said for many down jackets.
