I recently spent the night in this fine sleeping bag at around 10,000 feet north of Gunnison,Co. It got down to 15 degrees and I was toasty in just a pair of boxers. I love this product!

Had my first real experience in my polar pod the other day. My friends and I decided to go camping at a cabin. Being the person I am, I decided that it's not camping unless there's a tent and a sleeping bag involved. It got down to 10 degrees that night, and I must say that I did not feel a bit of cold all night. I love the pocket in the head to stuff clothes in for a pillow, and the zipping chest pocket. (I put my Brunton Helios lighter in there to keep her warm for use the next morning) The only problem I've had with this bag is that one night I got a little claustrophobic in it, and nearly tore the bag apart trying to find the zipper... The zipper snags unless you know what you're doing. After you get the hang of it, it's no problem. Just be sure you know what you're doing before you decide to rip your bag apart trying to get out of it like I almost did. :) Over all it's a great bag, and I believe that it's more than worthy to bare the 10 degree temperature rating.

Great Sleeping 'pod'! It is almost luxurious! Perfectly warm, plenty of foot space. I prefer having warm feet and a cool head when I sleep, this bag lets me sleep all night without waking up early because of cold feet! Yes, I have had bags that were grossly insufficient in the warmth department.

I do not feel claustrophobic at all as I have felt in some bags. It is a heavier/ larger bag than the 'regular' and is well worth it for the comfort!

Highly recommended for excursions in all 4 seasons at differing altitudes.

This is a very warm bag, accurate I believe in it's temperature rating. My only complaint is the zipper snags easily, but once used to it, it's no problem. I especially like the ability to unzip near the foot area to help regulate the temperature. It was a dream to sleep in when camping in Yellowstone and Glacier NP.

I only had this bag in my possession for one day. There was nothing wrong with the bag. Although for what I will be using it for the sack that was provided was way to bulky. I probably could have bought a compression sack for it but decided to return it. I will be on a chain saw crew in the Colorado Rockies this spring through fall. I needed to conserve space. That was my only complaint.
