I bought these pants for my daughter to wear. Since it rains a bit in Seattle, these pants provide a great layer over her pants to keep her dry, and we can still go to the park to play in the rain.

The only negative is they are really long. She wears 2T pants and these are a good six inches longer than any other 2T pants she owns.

Otherwise, it was a great purchase.

These are the best rain pants out there! Especially for the price. We wear them almost daily to the playground and park in fall, winter & spring. My girls can enjoy the swings and slides without getting wet pants. I've recommended them to a ton of other parents. They last well, too. Great hand-me-downs. They are a bit long but we just roll them up and that way they last a few seasons or years. Also, many, many, many thanks REI for not making them in pink!

Service and delivery comments:

These are hard to find in the PNW REI stores. It seems they come in and are gone in a weekend. I recommend parents in the NW buy online and have shipped to the stores until REI starts alotting their rainwear inventory correctly. An employee at the Portland REI told me that they get the same inventory in raingear as say, Southern California, which is why they always seem to be out in store.
