I bought this jacket for my toddler girl; decided on the green "boy" color because the options for girls were overly "girly." I live in a hot, humid climate with frequent heavy thunderstorms. Everywhere I searched I could only find raincoats that also had insulation, which would cause overheating here. THIS JACKET IS PERFECT! It is truly, absolutely waterproof. Water rolls off of it like a duck's back! The hood is snug enough that rain can't get in, and it has a small visor attached to the hood that keeps rain out of the little one's eyes without obscuring vision. It also tightens around the wrists with velcro straps and closes with a zipper AND snap button closure over the zipper. It is really breathable and does not add any warmth, which is a plus if you live in a hot, humid climate. It seems slightly large on my girl, but this may be because it is a "boys" jacket, and also it is good that it isn't totally snug so she can wear a sweatshirt under it if it gets cool outside. On top of its functional awesomeness, it is also very cute! My child gets tons of compliments when she wears it. Great for the child who loves to play in the rain!

I bought the rain jacket and the pants for my 2 year old.
They kept him dry even when he waded, splashed or ran through puddles.
I wish for a loop to hang the jacket and pants by as well as stow pockets for when (ha, ha) the weather cleared. Went to Maine where is has rained consistently for months.

I bought this for my daughter in yellow--PLEASE BRING BACK THIS OPTION! I bought several sizes too big, and we've been happily using it for several seasons. Very visible in inclement weather and low lighting, and the reflective trim is great. She waded happily through deep muddy puddles and stayed dry. I love the covered zipper. The hood was a little roomy for her, but in colder weather we add a woolly hat which helps. Love that it is unlined, and that it is roomy enough to add warmer clothing underneath if needed. The velcro tabs at the wrists and ankles are great, although are a dirt magnet on the ankles (not so bad to clean out). Although the sleeves may seem to long, I prefer this in general. I too wish there was a hanging loop, at least on the jacket.

This rain set is JUST what I wanted for my VERY active grandson. I can just see him splasing in puddles and wet grass with the dogs. It is soft, durable and seems very able to hold up to a little boy playing in the rain.
