  • Soft polyester fleece inner face traps body heat for warmth

  • Articulated elbows allow a nonbinding fit for full range of motion
  • Droptail hem is longer in back than front, increasing coverage for active sports

Excellent Jacket for Active Sports

We have two of these jackets and are getting a third size (as our oldest boy grows). We cross country ski a lot. This is the perfect jacket once a child is good enough to keep moving. Lightweight, no bulk, but wind and weather resistant with a light fleece liner (warmer than a wind jacket, but not a snow/ski jacket). Super tough, too - our first one is still in great shape after two boys, now worn by younger sister. Also great for wearing around town when temps in the 30's - 50's. Highly recommend for the appropriate purpose.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        I thought this looked like the perfect jacket when I saw it online. However, when it arrived I was disappointed to discover that it is REALLY stiff. Maybe it is functional, but it is not a cozy jacket by any means. I shop at REI and typically like there items, but I returned this jacket. I would not recommend it.
