Comments about Novara Thermal Tech Bike Tights - Women's:
On the plus side, these tights kept me warm as I rode through light sleet on my way home from work, even without rain pants.
On the down side, the fit on these pants is terrible and one of the seams has already started to split after not even 10 miles of riding! I will be returning them due to the seam issue. For what it's worth, I am not very experienced in buying padded bike pants, so maybe I'm just missing something as far as fit goes, but the seam issue is unacceptable.
The major fit problem was that these pants don't come up nearly high enough in back. They ride at about the height of lowish-riding street pants, so when I got on my bike I felt like my bum was hanging out in the breeze! (It wasn't - my jacket covered it, but it was a bit chilly.) And I have a fairly small rear end for someone of my size, plus I ride a hybrid (relatively upright riding position). If you're a woman with serious glutes and a road bike, I think you'd have a major case of plumber's butt in these pants.
If you have a tiny bum and like to wear long jerseys, these pants may be just the thing for you. But keep an eye on those seams!

Comments about Novara Thermal Tech Bike Tights - Women's:
I tried these tights on at the REI store in the hopes that I had finally found a good pair of tights at a reasonable price. I have always been extremely happy with my Novara brand purchases in the past. These tights fit good everywhere, but because they were so low-waisted (like hip-huggers), I opted not to buy them. I prefer my tights to cover my back, especially in winter. I would definitely buy several pairs if they were re-designed to incorporate a higher waist-line.

Comments about Novara Thermal Tech Bike Tights - Women's:
I agree with the other reviewers-- these pants do not come up high enough in the back. Serious plumbers butt issues! They are otherwise comfortable and warm, but I have to wear a pair of shorts over them to cover my bum. You're welcome to whoever is riding behind me!

Comments about Novara Thermal Tech Bike Tights - Women's:
These were my first pair of cycle tights and I was a bit nervous about them after I read the other reviews, however, the only problem I have had with them is the week seams. But the only seams I have noticed breaking are those holding the padding to the tights itself. Since I also sew, that was pretty quick and easy to fix.
Also in regards to the low back comments, these are not low riding on me! Maybe it's because I'm only 5ft, but I have at least an inch and half of coverage when I'm on the bike.
I also enjoy how warm the tights are, it hasn't got over 50 degrees since I've started riding and one day we had high wind gusts, but I've felt totally warm. The padding is also very comfortable and cooling.
Overall, I thought it was a good purchase for the price.
