The fit is great, appears to be durable, and has plenty of pockets. The coat is much warmer than you'd think it would be. I've used it in the mountains in northern New Mexico and southern Colorado. If you're hiking or snowshoeing, you'll be too warm unless its below 25F and there's a slight breeze. If you're standing still, it'll probably be OK. I only have one complaint, and that's with the zip-in fleece liner. The material is really "sticky", so its hard to put on without having your sleeves bunch up. The little tab that holds the liner in place by your wrist works when taking the coat off, but when putting it on, the liner tends to come out of the outer sleeve (3 or 4 inches) and then you have to stuff it back in. This isn't too bad is you put the coat on once and wear it all day, but if you tend to put it on and off several times a day, it gets to be pretty annoying. A simple nylon or other lining in the sleeve would get the coat a 5-star rating.

I saw this coat at rei, tried it on and instantly fell in love with it!!! for a few months after I stewed and scrimped and saved until I had enough! I love it! It fits stylishly and is great for everyday wear. Also its great for working in snowy conditions like plowing your driveway and winter yardwork. I've worn it for snowboarding and again it excels! Also, winter day hikes (haven't gone overnight camping yet) are great cozy and fun with this jacket! It is super light! My wife grabbed it to throw on the other day when she ran outside and remarked about how light it was!

The only downside for me is that i feel the zip out liner is ugly when worn alone :-) (I have the light green version) I may trade it for the darker green?

This is a great cold-weather jacket, but the layers really need to work together. The outer shell is slightly too big and thin to wear as anything but a light windbreaker/raincoat, while the inner fleece liner is so heavy that it may be a little aggressive for actual strenuous outdoor activity.

I love the waterproof zippers, the double-snap waist gaiter, and ample accessible pockets.

The only downside seems to be the snaps that hold the fleece liner sleeves in place. There are slits cut in the fleece that do not seem very sturdy, so I took it upon myself to quickly sew an edge around it so it doesn't rip.

Don't plan on wearing a sweater or anything under this guy. The fleece sleeves tend to "catch" anything but slippery synthetics.

I like the feel and look of this Jacket. It is well made. I find myself wearing the coat in all three formats. I particularly like the fact that its definitely not a North Face clone.
