Comments about BOB Revolution / Strides Weather Shield - Single:
This is the best BOB accessory! (Well besides the handlebar console which I believe should come standard with the stroller.)
We started using the weather shield in the spring when our son was about 8 months old. We had 33 days of measurable rain in a row this summer, and I couldn't have gotten outside as much as I did without this weather shield! At one point we used it 5 times in one week! It's lightweight and packs down well under the stroller, so many times we took it with just in case it rained. Where we live it doesn't rain very hard though, and after awhile the rain seemed to soak in to the gray material. I'm not sure how it performs in heavy rain.
This winter it has been essential too. We use it whenever it's below 10 degrees F, and we've walked as cold as -5 degrees F, and with the weather shield my son actually fell asleep half the time, which he hadn't done in the stroller since early summer! Of course we have him bundled up in many layers and a couple of blankets, but the weather shield holds in the heat too. Speaking of that, if I remember correctly they recommend not using the shield if it's warmer than 65 degrees F outside since it could get too hot inside for the baby/toddler.
My son hates the wind, and the weather shield completely blocks it out, which is another great feature.
I kept my sanity the past 8 months being able to get outside for walks thanks to the BOB stroller and weather shield!

I am so glad I purchased this. I have the old yellow one and picked it up on clearance from REI for [$]. I was able to take my 6 week old baby out in 40 degree weather with the shield on her BOB and she was warm and cozy. It's great on a breezy day or a rainy one. Be careful to not use it when it's sunny or warm because it does get very warm inside. I love my BOB and this products has allowed us to run days that were too cold or windy without it.

I love love this product. I used it daily when I walk in the evening with my baby. It's April now but the wind and the cold was still too strong for my baby. Before, I could only walk for less than 4 minutes before the baby's face got too cold because of the wind. Now with the cover on, I could walk and walk and the baby stay warm inside. It fit perfectly and fold down small unlike the cheapie one I bought at Babies R US.I plan to travel to Europe and Disney world at the end of this year and the cover will be the first thing I will put in my luggage. Vacation is no fun if the baby get sick form the cold, wind, or rain. I am going to buy another one as a back up.

Pricey, but we decided to buy it for our trip to San Francisco when the forecast showed rain during our vacation. We used to use a large poncho when we get caught in the rain, but it never really fit well and we were constantly checking for leaks and tucking it in often to prevent the baby from getting wet. With the BOB weather guard, all we had to do was slip it on and we didn't have to worry! We finally broke down and bought it because it finally came in a neutral color, not the yellow-school bus color LOL. It takes a few practice tries to slip it onto the stroller, but it is simple. Plus, it's light enough to fold up and keep in the rear basket area, it's not bulky at all.

Living in the Washington and going for hikes in the Cascades and Olympic mountains, it is essential to have good rain gear and this is great rain gear for the our daughter. We have used this rain cover in every thing from all out downpours to light drizzle and the inside of the stroller has always stayed dry. It makes a little cockpit for the kid to play in. It also works great as a wind breaker and also for really brushy trails. It is fairly easy to get into the stroller through the side and not get the kid wet by doing so. The vents are adequate , but we have had issues with the inside fogging up. This problem went away after adjusting the back vet to allow more air to escape. Make sure the bottom vent doesn't become blocked by a blanket or something. This is the main vent to bring in fresh air so it is important that it stays open. After setting up the rain shield at home a couple of times it becomes easy to put on in the pouring rain.
