The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about BugBand Insect Repelling Band - Green:
Travelling to Florida this past week, I had high hopes for this product after picking it up from REI (by mistake, as I was looking for a Bug Bam).
Sadly however, after following all instructions, it didn't help at all with mosquitoes. We were eaten alive and had mosquitoes even landing and biting next to the band!
The packaging says 120 hours (although I couldn't find any data to support this on the company website), it didn't even work for 120 seconds! How do they gauge this anyway?
I know there are great wristband repellent products out there. Unfortunately though, this is definitely not one of them.

Comments about BugBand Insect Repelling Band - Green:
I have used the bugband on various camping and backpacking trips for the last two years. And yes, some sites near lakes and streams. I usually get eaten alive - and have received nary a bite when wearing the band. I can usually use one for a weekend trip; the longest I have used one without switching out.
Even have my camping companions trying them - and it has worked for most of them (only two mentioned they still were bitten, but not as much as usual).

Comments about BugBand Insect Repelling Band - Green:
OK, I have seen what others have said about this product but, after I used it. I have a special place that is year around a wetland or marsh. I have never, in almost 20 years, been there and not been bitten by a mosquito (winter included). This last trip my companion and I did not get bit once during a three day stay and we were outside the whole time. There were mosquitoes and even had to chase them out of the tent but, again, not one bite.
