      Mosquitos love me. If one person in a hiking/backpacking group would be bitten, you can bet your last dollar that it'd be ME!

      This 100% deet spray is small. I only use it on area that has to be exposed like face and back of hand and wrist.

      I spray to my palm first and the use my finger tip to apply to my face so I won't get it in my eyes.

      It smells like deet but it works. Last weekend on Vivian Creek Trail in San Gorgonio, after I got bitten on back of my hand and on my face next to the hair line, I busted it out and applied it. No more bother afterwards.

      Now I have to get the 30% deet spray for my body. The mosquitos bit through my hiking pants, hiking shirt, and later my micro fleece 1/4 zip top. I got half a dozen bites, one even "this" close to my rear end!

      BTW, head net works wonders. Get the Carey Atwater brand. It is so much roomier than other brands. I can eat lunch and drink water while having this head net on.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      Start with 30% Deet or there about, but when things get serious, bust out the 100%. Battle tested through 9 miles of mosquito hell. Small, easy to carry, no leak container. Be careful though, it melts a lot of plastic including silnylon. Too bad they do not make a 30% in the same pocketable spray size. Just the non-DEET insect repellant & sunscreen product which is useless.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
