Comments about SportHill Symmetry II Jacket - Men's - '08 Closeout:
I like this jacket, but it did not pass its test in the rain; both sleeves let water through pretty soon after it started raining. The description said "protects you from wind, rain, and snow." It's fine for a light rain, but this is probably in the "water resistant" rather than "waterproof" camp.

Done several long runs in this jacket. It's a very nice looking jacket. The elastic cuffs can be slightly annoying, as they aren't adjustable.

Comments about SportHill Symmetry II Jacket - Men's - '08 Closeout:
If you don't know, SportHill invented the concept of stylish, high-tech sportswear. Now the high-tech remains, but the style component is a little long in the tooth. So, if you want an incredibly functional shell for running, breathable, 'mostly' windproof up front, vent in the back for excess perspiration, with functional lining, DIRT CHEAP, this is it! This over a N*ke waffle shirt (long sleeve) and I am sweating at 49 degrees and 30mph wind gusts. I expect this combo to take me down to 30 degrees, and in the teens and 20's I'll probably add a thin vest on top of the base layer. Note that this jacket is full sized, NOT a form fitting cycling style jacket. But that allows for another layer. No, I don't think it is waterPROOF, or windPROOF. But that would probably kill the great breathability. Buy it; you WILL use it.
