One of the reasons I always prefer the REI brand fleece jackets is because they do not put their logo all over. I purchased this for my 82-year old mother in the plum and it is a wonderful, deep
eggplant color. I wish they came in more colors because I know my mom would want one in each color!
This is not to say that you have to be my mother's age to wear this jacket--it's just one of those jackets with a great cut that will be flattering for many. Very useful outer zippered side slit pockets as well as two generous sized ones inside, so a total of 4 pockets. Fleece is lightweight and soft, drapes well.

My wife has an older version of this jacket, and absolutely loves it. She wore it every day for over a month during a trek across Spain. It looks a little worse for the wear, but it is still holding together. I only wish it still came in the bright green color that she loves...
It's a good thick fleece, not the thinner micro-fiber kind... not super windproof, but she says it did perform well when wet, and dried very quickly.

Great jacket at a great price. I shopped specifically for jackets in a neutral/beige/off-white color and ended up with the Chalk color in this jacket. The fit is wonderful - long enough without being too long, large enough in the chest without being too large, princess seams and vertical pocket placement elongate and slim the torso. Would love for REI to make this exact jacket in a windproof version. Hint, hint.
