These rugged REI Acme pants provide a great microclimate for strenuous outdoor sports. They feature a fitted design with knee articulation and a petite length.

  • Acme pants thrive in nearly all conditions except for high heat and humidity; use them for trekking, mountain biking, backpacking, mountaineering and backcountry skiing
  • Schoeller® Dryskin fabric offers excellent breathability, minimizing sweaty buildup during sustained vigorous activity
  • It also provides great water and abrasion resistance with comfortable 4-way stretch; windproof to 16 mph
  • Zip fly, button front and belt loops let pants double as urban wear; they go easily from trail to table

    I was going to buy the taku pants because I needed something totally water proof, durable and windproof. Even the size 4 of the taku pants fit a little big and bulky- not something I would wear unless I really had to. The acme pants fit right and look good. I'm really glad I found them!

    I bought these pants while visiting Seattle Washington. They have traveled with me for nearly a year from the Pacific Northwest to California, Michigan and South Florida. I've used them for hiking, bicycling, camping, travel, casual nights out on the town... they fit beautifully, are comfortable for long days, and tough enough to not snag on rocks or thorns while hiking in back country. They are my favorite pants.
